Admissions

Step 1: Send the Required Documents

1. Gather Documentation: Start by collecting essential documents. These typically include:

  • Diagnosis Report: A formal diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) from a licensed professional (e.g., pediatrician, psychologist). A Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluation (CDE) is required to be completed by a psychologist.

  • Referral: A referral from your child’s primary care doctor or developmental specialist (if required).

  • Insurance Information: Your insurance details, copy of the front and back of the insurance card, including prior authorizations or approvals, if needed.

Submit Documents: Send these documents to Gifted In Greatness ABA & Autism Center via email at office@giftedgreatness.net or via fax at 866-730-5962.

Step 2: Approval

  1. Insurance Verification: Gifted In Greatness ABA & Autism Center will submit documents to your insurance company to request an authorization approval for services. Your insurance company will review your documentation to ensure your child meets the criteria for therapy.

  2. Confirmation of Coverage: Once approved, you’ll receive confirmation from Gifted In Greatness ABA & Autism Center and/or insurance, outlining the coverage and any out- of-pocket costs, such as deductibles or copays.

Step 3: Complete Intake Forms

1. Provider's Intake Forms: After approval, Gifted In Greatness ABA & Autism Center will send you intake forms to complete. These typically ask for:

  • Your child’s background and developmental history.

  • Behavioral concerns and areas where you seek improvement.

  • Details about any other therapies or educational plans (such as IEPs).

Submit Forms: Ensure all sections are filled out accurately, and return the forms Gifted In Greatness ABA & Autism Center.

Step 4: Schedule Assessment

  1. Initial Assessment: Once the intake forms are processed, we will schedule an initial assessment with a Gifted In Greatness ABA & Autism Center Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

  2. Parent Interview: During the assessment, the provider may conduct a parent interview to gather additional information about your child’s behaviors, strengths, and needs.

  3. Child Observation: The provider will observe your child’s behavior in a clinical setting to gather information for developing a personalized therapy plan.

Step 5: Start ABA Therapy

  1. Review the Therapy Plan: After the assessment, Gifted In Greatness ABA & Autism Center will create a customized therapy plan based on your child’s needs. Review it carefully and ask questions if needed.

  2. Begin Sessions: Once assessment plan is approved by your insurance company, your child will be assigned a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) and therapy sessions will begin, and you’ll coordinate with Gifted In Greatness ABA & Autism Center/Private School on scheduling and next steps.
